A few favorite (back to schoolish) things /

1 / Cool school lunches.  I checked out Weelicous Lunches from the library and then I renewed it and now I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to buy it.  I’m completely . . .

 

 

inspired to make my kids healthy and fun lunches.  I’m also sold on the bento box lunch idea.  I’ve got my eye on the PlanetBox ones.  Do any of you use them?  On a side note, my older two make their own lunches, so I’m excited to get creative and healthy with them.  I usually loathe packing lunches.  I hope the excitement lasts.  ps- OMG these forks!

 

2  / New haircuts and shirts.  The boys had some wild surfer hair going on, which actually I was kind of sad to see go . . . but school.  They are feeling all kinds of new.  Shirts are by Warrior Poet.

 

3 / Fun backpacks.  We are loving this iridescent green one from J. Crew.  It’s a little small for La La’s books but it’s perfect for extra circular activities, like volleyball.  We don’t get new backpacks every year.  Some are passed down and some re-used if they are in good condition.  This year we are using last years.  But, if I was getting new ones for my boys, these monster ones would be coming home with us.
