I love a good design book.  I mean that’s a given.  And, as you know, I love ALL kinds of books.  But, when a design book is married with useful information, well then that is when you have a winner.  And, Apartment Therapy Complete and Happy Home by Maxwell Ryan and Janel Laban is just that.  It’s imagery is inspiring and the content is resourceful.

I’ve long been a fan of Apartment Therapy, the website (My daughter’s room was featured on their website a few years back) and now I can say the same about the book.

One thing I totally love about Apartment Therapy, website and book, is that they feature real, very lived in homes.  In the book there is even a section to “meet the homeowners.”  I love that.  You don’t see that often in design books.

There is ample interior inspiration, but also very detailed information on things like cleaning, repairs, a year-round happy and healthy home calendar and getting the flow right.

Setting Up Your Home / Living in Your Home / Maintaining Your Home.

I’m particularly interested in the Maintaining Your Home section, as I’d love to be more organized and learn some new tips.
