3 Christmas Decorating DIYs

I told you I have Christmas on the brain.  It should be Thanksgiving.  I know.  But, I don’t have any decorations for it.  Food, yes.  Family, yes.  Grateful heart, yes.  Honestly, I never go crazy with Christmas decorations, either.  At least, I haven’t the past few years.  My tree is kind of hodge podge and I’m quite happy with that.  But, I do like adding little this and thats. Maybe a little something I throw in the cart at Target (I know you do it too!)  or something we make at home.  I’m totally not a DIY queen or super crafty (a few I can handle here).  I love the simple ones best and I thought I’d share a few that have been catching my eye.

First, the Eucalyptus Garland (above) by Home Oh My!  Pretty anytime of year, but would be so lovely around a door frame or dressing up windows or just a wall, as shown here.  I love eucalyptus!

Christmas Tree Idea via La La Lovely Blog

If you don’t have a room for a tree or just want another tree in your home, this hanging tree (via Planete Deco) made from tranches, twine and a few sprigs of pine or evergreen would be perfect.  You even, probably, have everything you need on hand to make this!  If love color you could hang a few ornaments to jazz it up.

Pretty Wooden DIY Ornamentspg

Lastly, I’m la la loving these DIY wooden tassel ornaments as seen on the Holiday Collective.  They would be so pretty covering a tree, and also a perfect gift to give (maybe to teachers?).  Drill, paint, and tassels (I’ve got experience with those).  Easy!

Well, I’m off to Target.  I’m taking self-control with me, because they have some really cute things this year.  Like, if I was to fill up my cart, it would be with . . .
