Hello, lovelies!
Just thought I’d share a little update to my family room. Last week, I told you that I’m preparing for what I call human hibernation and that I’m all about making our family room more cozy. Well, I haven’t gotten a new couch yet (and, honestly, that might not even happen this year – – a girl can wish), but I do have some beautiful new . . .
artwork, that I’ve added and wanted to share with you.
I’m so smitten with this piece called Mineral by Lily Hanna for Minted. It’s so earthy and calming. The colors are just gorgeous, and somehow I just feel a little more relaxed when I look at it. The colors remind me of the desert and, I’m hoping that makes me feel warm throughout the winter.
Honestly, I couldn’t quite decide where to hang this in my home. I loved changing out the art and updating our family room, because we spend a lot of time in this room, although I was a little worried the piece was a tad to big for this spot. But, being one to break design rules, I thought I’d give it a try. And, I love it here. Yet, I also think I might love it over my desk (if I could find another functional place for my inspiration board).
It’s amazing how one piece of art can really make a difference and inspire you to change things up (surprisingly, I’m not one to change things up too often).
I’d been oohing and ahhing over Minted art for some time, so it was fun to finally select something, although not an easy task as they have so many cool pieces.
Here are a few of my favorites, that I’ve saved and wouldn’t mind adding to my home. xx

Lovely room! I have just started the search for art to hang in our home (we moved in last Jan…) and I find it to be such an overwhelming task sometimes! Love this neutral palate, great inspiration!

thank you, so much! It is hard to choose art….so many good options. I’m learning to stick with what I’m initially drawn too. I also love when sites, like Minted, have an option to save your favorites and then you can view all the ones you like together and look to see if you are drawn to similar things or what really stands out the most to you. Have fun looking for art! xo . t
