A few fashion finds (essentials and not so essentials) for fall.

Do you have a favorite season when it comes to clothing?

It’s fall for me. Always, fall. I love sweaters and jeans. Coats and boots.

I don’t know how everyone shops, these days, but I seem to shop by weather and more online than off. I would say that I shop by season, but in reality, it’s more of a cold weather wears and warm weather wears kind of thing. It’s not to say I don’t buy a few things here or there throughout the year, in person at a brick and mortar store, smack dab in the middle of a season, it’s just that I find myself buying at the start of cold and the welcome of warm.

Since fall is my favorite, I thought I’d share a few of my finds for the season. A few pieces that I’m admiring and a few that made it into my cart and are currently en route to my front doorstep.

01 / Bandana scarf: a fun accessory that goes great with a t-shirt. This has been on my shopping list for some time. And a sale is always the best time to cross it off the list.

02 / Ruffle hem pants: I la la love these! They don’t have them in my size, but I’m going to keep my eye out for a re-stock because I love the detail (and the price!)

03 / Tassle earrings: I like the idea of wearing these on a regular old Monday (and special occasions, too).

04 / Acrylic Arc bag: I’ve seen this Cult Gaia bag floating around the interwebs for awhile and I keep coming back to it. This particular style really caught my eye because it reminds me of jelly shoes from the 80’s. Who doesn’t want in on that? I’ve got my jean jacket ready to pair with it.

05 / Round sunglasses: I’ve been eyeing these Sunday Somewhere glasses for some time. Not sure if the round style will work with my face shape, but since they are on double sale, I thought I’d give them a try. With free returns, what is there to lose?

06 / Block heel booties: I adore the wooden block detail. I’m always up for investing in a good pair of boots that will last through several cool seasons. Sadly, my size is not available, but I’m hoping one of you, Lovelies, snags a pair while they are on sale.

07 / Once Upon a Time Top: I promise I don’t just love this top for the name. I’m all about a floral and ruffles to go with my high-rise jeans.

08 / Away We Go Feather Jacket: Another great name, right? I seem to be drawn to furry jackets this season. This color is so gorgeous. This one is added to my wishlist!

09 / Deep V Sweater: I always like to add a sweater at the start of the cooler months. I ordered this one because I love the detail. I think it will look really smart paired with black pants (like the ruffle ones) or totally relaxed with jeans.

 

 

And a few more fall faves that are currently on my wishlist:

01 / I’m trying these black trousers since I had to pass on the ruffle ones.

02 / I have been looking for a trench coat for years (truly). This one looks like it might fit the bill. Great price. Great length. Great color.

03 / I am still slightly obsessed with the loafer trend. I love that this pair, from fashionABLE, has a mild heel.

04 / A flowy dress that is both feminine and casual has been on my list for some time. I fell in love with this starry one (not in my size), and think this floral one with a mock neck is darling, too.
