Gifts, gifts gifts and more gifts. The 2018 La La Lovely Gift Guide is here and I hope it helps you get your shopping done! (I’m never done with my shopping until the last minute. There is always next year …. so I tell myself every year!
01 / A graphic short sleeve tee : I’ve been eyeing Band.do t-shirts for some time, now. I particularly like this “Serious Business Woman” one. Because that’s who I was always trying to be when I was a kid.
02 / Skin Saver : This has been popping up everywhere. Helping dry skin and also for using on the cheekbones to get that glow. Glow get it, girl!
03 /A shiny watch : I love this gold one that is sure to make me feel like Wonder Woman.
04 / Kristin Ess hair styling tools : Adore all of her hair products.
05 / Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty because I love everything she writes.
06 / Statement earrings : They are my fave. I’m swooning over this pair, in particular.
07 / The Napper :Have you heard of weighted blanket for a calming effect (to help with anxiety and the like)? I’d love to try one.
08 / Slow Juicer : I’ve been making a lot of celery juice lately and I’m convinced this little green guy will make the process better. Slow juicers keep more of the nutrients. This green guy is not too loud and compact for under the counter. It’s what I’m hoping Santa brings me.
09 / Modern Detangling Hair Brush : Because even brushes should be pretty.
10 / Wick Trimmer and Candle Snuffer. I’m loving all things candles at the moment. Turns out guys even like them too… this one is great for men (my husband loves it). I don’t have the proper accessories and I’d very much like them. Love the modern style and affordability of this pair.
11 / These plates : Totally adorbs and affordable (Thanks Target). It’s always fun to get a little something Cristmassy for next year.
12 / Quip Tooth Brush : Everyone swears by this guy. The design, the keeping it clean (compared to other electric toothbrushes), the price, the job it does. I’m in!
I think these posters by NextDoorToNorth Prints (and the Walnut Magnetic Frame) are worth noting–they are so stylish and cheeky. The January Song is my fave.
NextDoorToNorth Prints is a husband wife duo. She writes. He designs. Erin and Aaron. I’ve loved Erin’s writing since I was a kid. And, I’m clearly a huge fan of Aaron’s design skills–he designed the interior of my book and worked on the cover as well.
Speaking of La La Lovely: You can order a personally inscribed / signed copy, right here (as well as two prints that Aaron designed for me).
A few favorite books. One’s that I love and/or that are on my wish list:
Also, always the Passion Bible. They just released the book of Isaiah (One of my fave books of the Bible) and it’s on my wish list. Original Conference has a gorgeous marbled covered version for Psalms and Proverbs for only $10.
What’s your wishlist this year? Or favorite gift that you’ve bought to give?
PS- Remember when your grandma used to get you sox? I guess I’m old because I no longer think that Sox are idea when they are fuzzy and adorable. Love these affordable footies from Target (more options here too).
