I’m into the details today, lovelies.  It doesn’t take much to make a small spot stand out.

If you have an itch for a quick fix then why not . . .

 

1  / Use pattern.  I love how in the first image everything is white and simple and the floor takes the cake.  This pattern play works with tile, wallpaper or even framed art.

2 / Decorate wasted space.  Why not make a little place of interest in an otherwise wasted space.  A spot like under your stairs that is usually overlooked is a fun place to fix up.  Functional and fantastic.

3 /  Make every object count.  How about restyle a little table you already have?  Add a few baskets, a gorgeous piece of pottery, a few greens and things.  Keep it simple, meaningful and functional and you’ll be good to go.  It’s amazing how good refreshing things can feel when you declutter a bit, add a special something to the mix (old or new), and bring in some greens.

Never underestimate the power of a few details  – they can make all the difference.
