Care for your Hair

I wish I had perfect hair but I pretty much don’t.  What I do have is a love for products and I’m on an endless search for anything that will make hair look better, feel better and give me the gift of not having to wash my it everyday.

My friend, Erica, who owns a pretty fab salon & day spa [The Experience] is always in the know.  She was sweeter than sweet to treat me to a few new products that she is loving and I have to say that I’m now la la loving them too.

Here are few of my favorites:

*I wasn’t familiar with the Davines line until Erica introduced me.  It’s from Italy (what from Italy isn’t great?) and they only use reusable energy sources.  I can’t wait to try more from this line.

Davines Moisturizing Shampoo \ lovely smell + nice wash that seems to really get rid of product build up.

Davines Lovely Smoothing Conditioner \ this stuff pretty much rules.  it’s thick and pink, and looks like strawberry icing.  i leave this on while i shave and it does it’s magic.  oh, and it smells great too (sweet but not too strong).

Everyone loves Bumble + Bumble products (I, myself,  love the Surf Spray).  Here are two that are def worth a spray:

BB Shine on (and on) Finishing Spray \ a little goes a long way.  a light spray here and a light spray there and the smooth shimmer sets on in.

Bumble and Bumble White Hair Powder \ i have to wash my hair daily and this product helps me not to + that is pretty much gold in aerosol form as far as I’m concerned.  a few sprays to the greasy zones and you’re good to go.

If you are local, you can find all of these products at The Experience …and… remember these nails?  They can do them too!

Do you have any new hair care products that you love?  Any you can’t live without?

i love bumble and bumble’s new-ish one: texture.
    it’s pretty rad.
and john masters organics sea mist is perfect for spritzing my hair when it’s done to mess it up a bit… not that it’s ever *done* much these days!

ps: hi! love your blog… it’s a new favorite!

I have curly/wavy hair and the best product I have found for it is SEXY CURLY Hair’s spray mousse. I have tried so many different ones and this one is amazing.

I am a hair product junkie too! Always looking for new ways to make my curly hair – straight and curly hair – not frizzy… it’s an ordeal! And I love the glitter tip nails.. gonna have to try that. Perhaps we should go visit The Experience when I come visit :) Love ya!

i like the crede line…it’s japanese! the ER treatment makes my hair so manageable, it works for curls, natural wave or blow drying/straightening!

One of my favorites that I cannot have a good hair day without it, is Osis Dust It by Schwarzkopf. All you need is a few small taps of it into your roots . . . amazing hair transformation.
