you know when something is a slim chance (or a fat chance for that matter…i mean don’t they pretty much mean the same thing?  anyways, i’m going with slim today)?  well, i’m there focusing on the chance and forgetting the slim.  is there anything in your life that you want to happen pretty badly but the chances are slim?  i’ve got a slim chance on the horizon.  it involves a trip.  a trip i could possibly work out if i pushed hard enough, yet i feel like i shouldn’t push it (ever feel that way?).  but in my mind i’m going.  there is always a chance, right?

things are getting wild, as they do in the month of winter.  everyone is ornery and antsy and just pretty much gasping for a daily does of fresh air playtime.

but it’s friday and as always i’m glad its the weekend.  we are going to see oz the great and powerful (have i told you how much i love going to the movies.  its my fave), and on saturday i’m cooking my grandpa’s favorite meal.  the 16th was his birthday and i thought it would be a really fun idea to gather, cook a meal and share some of our favorite memories (i think this is a great tradition to start).  i’ve been missing him a lot lately.
