sometimes on a thursday you dream about kitchens that could be or maybe just ooh and ahh over ones that already are. when i, recently, saw beth kirby’s, (local milk), new kitchen on remodlista, i did some ooh and ahhing and followed up with some dreaming. this kitchen is just so good. beth’s kitchen was a basic builder version until the jersey ice cream co , a full service design and construction team stepped in. the attention to detail is insanely good.
i can’t stop thinking in detail about how i’d like the the jersey ice cream company to come add their magical touch to my kitchen.
i love how this kitchen is white and clean, but moody and collected. i tend to love both, so this look is pretty perfect in my books. there are areas that open, clean and simple and then the shelves filled with little this and thats that likely have a story behind them.
do you love your kitchen? and, if not, what does your dream kitchen look like?
my kitchen is lovely, but it’s definitely is not my style. i’d go for white, a farm sink, old and modern elements, great appliances and warm moody elements mixed in. and, my ultimate dream kitchen would have a fireplace in it and a dutch door to the backyard. it’s fun to dream isn’t it?

LOVE my cabin kitchen even tho it can best be described as vintage cabin kitsch.
Abhor my real house kitchen which is awful 90s builder style-with those 4 inch square bathroom tiles as the backsplash.
Dream kitchen is from the toddler book Cozy in the Woods which has black and white checkerboard floors, a fireplace and a cozy cozy feel. (Also lots of friends and animals coming to join the meal-my favorite part.)
