Gift Guide / Littles

Littles Gift Guide | La La Lovely

For the littles!

If you haven’t bought anything yet.

Or, if your kids found the three presents you threw in the cart yesterday at IKEA and Costco and got them early.

Read on, lovely mothers.

So, as I was saying, the only presents I’ve purchased so far have been random . . . like a giant stuffed animal dogs from IKEA (Because I only just got rid of a bag of stuffed animals), that got thrown in the cart, yesterday, with spoons and holiday napkins and pink juice glasses that I also didn’t need. The kids were piling their snow bags in the back of the car and the stuffed dogs might as well have barked because someone yelled and squealed and surveyed me about the find. There was no way around it so I just said, “surprise, enjoy your dog.” I’m finally learning to laugh about these things. However, I think it’s time to get serious because I don’t even have proper lists going at this point. I’ve made one for you, though, which is partly a list for me too.

Without further ado, here are a few favorite gift ideas for kids of all ages.

Littles Gift Guide | La La Lovely

1 / OMY Coloring Posters : These are amazing and I can tell you this first hand. These are giant posters of cities around the world or fun scenes will keep your littles occupied in for hours. My kids, along with the neighbor kids, colored a map of the U.S., recently and they were hardcore focused while having fun. I’m thinking of ordering the map of New York City, after our quick visit the other week.

2 / Urban Ears : Going cordless is a fun idea for tweens or tweens.

3 / Architectural Wooden Blocks : Sometimes basic is best. My boys have these and will play nicely for long amounts of time, creating really cool buildings. Classic and kid approved.

4 / Hoverboard  : I know hoverboards were so last year. But they were not for us…so expensive. This year, prices have come down and we are considering this model (PS – $10 off and free shipping with this code: SWAG-1894A588KSJG). Although just moments ago my oldest boy told me he now wants a Onewheel – they are so this year (and so spendy).

5 / Swurfer : You have to check out the video to see what this is! Also, very last year. We did get this last year, and had to wait all the way until summer to use this surfing swing and it was well worth the wait. This is such a cool swing to hang in the trees. I even love taking a turn.

6 / Jenny Lind Doll Bed : Because, come on how adorable. Someone with a little girl, please get this!

7 / Ada Twist Scientist : I always gift a book to each of my children. I want them to love books as much as I do and it’s always a fun excuse to buy a pretty picture book for the little ones. This one is already in my Amazon cart . We are huge fans of Iggy Peck Architect  and Rosie Revere Engineer and I’m thrilled about the latest.

8/ Dog Coin Bank : This is so random. I can’t even remember where I saw this, maybe my Instagram feed? Regardless, my kids are really into banks and wallets and I thought these puppy coin banks that lap up your money like water were really fun.

9 / Dust Sweep and Mop Set : Because every kids likes to clean, until they are about nine.

10 / Seedling Maze : This build your own maze virtual reality game is pretty cool, for the whole family (especially the family that is stuck indoors because it’s so cold outside).

Now, if you have any great ideas, please, leave me a comment (I’m especially stuck on my younger boys that are five and seven). I’d love to know what you are buying the little ones in your life!
