Monday Mess . Apartment 34

If there is a small chance you haven’t yet been introduced to Erin Hiemstra of Apartment 34 than I am so pleased to introduce you to this lovely lady.  I first met Erin at ALT (last year).  In fact, she was the first person I met (we met at the airport) and I’m so glad we’ve kept in touch.  Erin is one of those people that stands out, in the best kind of way.  She kind of  just shines.  I’m always admiring (and inspired by) her spot on sense of style …the girl knows how to rock some serious, super model esque, fashion.  And although that might make her sound a little intimidating she is anything but.  Erin is genuinely warm and sincerely friendly.  She is one that is always in the know when it comes to all forms of style and her blog is always one of my go to’s.  I love her 4:00 p.m. Fashion Fix.

ERIN’s MESS:

The next thing on my Clean It list: my pantry. Digging around to find that last can of garbanzo beans drives me nuts. With very limited cabinet space, I recently purchased simple plastic bins to separate out and organize canned food from pastas from legumes and such. I’m looking forward to being able to just pull out a bin and grab what I want!

For some reason, I’m not a bed maker. It may be the style of our duvet and pillows but it doesn’t bother me to leave my bed looking a little rumpled.

Note: You can see more of Erin’s gorgeous home on Design Sponge + Refinery 29.

And tell me, lovelies, does your table get a little cluttered during the busy week or on a lazy weekend?  Mine always does too.  Kitchen (dining) tables have a tendency to be a catchall.  In my house it’s always mail, toys, bags, keys, etc.
