there is just something, well, more like everything I like about this space.  It just feels like me.

this video, ON A JOURNEY FROM HERE TO HERE. An Introduction to The Life and Work of Ana Montiel,  seriously almost put me in a trance like state + all i now want to do is paint and be relaxed.  In the video Ana says, “I’m addicted to beauty.  I seek it in everything, movies, places, objects…..the list is endless.”  i feel the very same way, i just wish i could express in such a beautiful form as art.

P.S. Last night I went to my first auction.  I was hoping to score a dresser for la la’s room and well, I could have but I would have had to bought two (a set) and I just couldn’t do it.  I did leave with a cute little bookcase for $10 but what I really wanted to tell you is that it was a wild scene.  I was completely mesmerized by all of the happenings.  The interesting people, the junk (and I mean junk) they were buying.  People were just buying boxes when they didn’t even really know what was inside.  Maybe there is a method to this madness but I’m not so sure. Anyhow, I’m pretty sure I’ll be going again sometime because I might not be able to help myself.  Have you been to an auction before?
