happy friday.  do you find friday’s as happy as i do?

before a few weekend links i wanted to share another favorite, which would be my new  journals.  i think they are going to be my forever journals, which says a lot.  i’ve been journaling since the 9th grade, and for me it has always been about finding a decorative journal that is fun and interesting and looks like me (you would laugh at the ones i have picked out from high school – maybe one day i should share).  but today, i find that i want journals that are consistent.  i love the idea of copies all in a row in my bookshelf.  chronicles if you will.

anyhow, for my last journal i was using moleskine (which i love).  i loved the black simple cover, the quality of the paper and the pocket in the back for collecting things (i love collecting little papers and such too). my only complaint was that there wasn’t a lot of pages and i filled it up pretty quickly.

however, i somehow came upon leuchttrum journals.  very similar, only better.  better because the pages are numbered and there is a table of contents.  meaning you can create your own table of contents.  i think this is kind of life changing.  they come in a variety of colors, including white (which is sold out at the moment but, of course, i can imagine a whole bookshelf in white).  blank pages are my favorite because who wants to stay wihtin the lines?  and, i adore the idea of labeling the spine with the dates (as seen in the photo above).
