how was your week, lovelies?  i’m made a quick trip to new york to attend a conference, on story telling with Q Ideas, and to visit one of my besties.  I really can’t get into the details of it because there are just too many details to sort through and process at this point.  you know when you are so full that you almost feel empty?  i know it doesn’t make any sense, and yet it makes all the sense in the world, at least to me.

new york is always stimulation overload.  the bigness.  the style.  the engery.  the stark visual contrast of my normal everyday.  i’m always engergized in an instant and spent, almost, just as quickly.  but, nevertheless i love the shock to my system.

and, funny enough, i’m cuddled up in this room (do you remember?) that i helped design last year.  i still love this space in a big way.

what are you plans this weekend?  i have a busy but exciting week…. i’m co-hosting a kids baking workshop with trophy cupcakes at the land of nod in chicago on saturday….  if you are in the area, you sould come!  then saturday evenging is a party  for the soul pancake fatherhood premiere, that my friend corbyn is producing.  oh, and i’m hoping to get some rest this weekend too . . .

and speaking of, i’m sharing a few tips and ideas on creating a calming bedroom over on euro style lighting this week.

04 / this new girl group has me wanting to grab skates + head to the rink (thanks christina!)

05 / did you see this movie?  i did + i feel like i need to go see it again.  it’s on my fave list.
