Here’s what I’m I’m la la loving this week . . .
mood boards taped right to the wall. I’m about to embark on a big project and feel a mood board is necessary. I had one above my desk but recently took it down in favor of art. I have a few things taped on the wall to the side of my desk but am certain it’s about to start looking like this pretty soon.
podcasts. I’ve decided to start listening to podcasts while grocery shopping (It is not my favorite task and this makes it almost feels like I’m shopping with friends). I listened to The Simple Show today on daily routines and it was so good. I’ve heard my friend Erin, talk about finding your golden hour and her writing schedule before and found it really insightful and today I enjoyed learning about other’s morning and evening routines…well worth a listen.
these boots, which are totally out of my price range.
words, from Brave Enough, by Cheryl Strayed (I’m a huge fan of her writing). I’m sitting with them for awhile. I’m learning a lot about facing pain at the moment.
this vegan date caramel sauce. The recipe looks easy enough and sounds perfect with apples from the orchard.
futuristic makeup that you or I would probably never wear. But these are the things that inspire me, that I find lovely for no apparent reason other than it caught my attention. This look is from New York Fashion Week.

That’s a GREAT quote. That being said, Cheryl Strayed is a mixed bag for me. She is overly F-bomby and I had mixed feelings about “Wild” (did you read that one)? When she nails it though, she nails it. And I really like the quote you featured. :)

Agreed…not a fan of the f-bomb and she does drop it. I did read Wild and I liked it but I think it has a lot to do with my personal journey/story. There were parts of the story that took me longer to get through and other parts that I emotionally related to. And like you said, “when she nails it, she nails it.” I did NOT like the movie, though. xo .t

I really love the Cheryl Strayed quote you posted here. I have never heard of her or read her work but, that page definitely has complete genius written on it. Something I definitely needed to read today.
Thanks for sharing!
