what a week.  it has been a bit of whirlwind and i don’t expect that to change for the next few weeks.  i’ve actually been spending time away from the computer and have been decorating and styling for original conference.  it’s always kind of refreshing to step away from the screen and watch ideas and creativity come to life.  ideas always seem to abound and i constantly curate images online but to see the ideas take form and come to life is nothing short of 3D…at least for me.  can’t wait to share more.

when i have been home, we have been sneaking outside here and there.  we joined polarn o. pyret  for their everyday a play day campaign which means we committed to playing outside everyday, rain or shine.  and can i just tell you that it has rained every. single. day this week (cold, almost snow type of rain).  it resulted in some new rain boots which made for very happy little boys.  anyways, i love po.p’s concept which is ….there is no bad weather, only bad clothing (i’m a huge fan of their stripes.  mine have been wearing the same pair for a year and a half).

despite all of the cold and rain (and maybe even snow tomorrow – yes, in april!) my heart has been so warmed in cheering on my friend, rebekah, as her book launched this week (did you enter the giveaway?).
