It’s Friday. And since it’s Fave Friday, I thought I’d share a few of my fave Instagram shots from this week (and last week, too). We went to the park twice this week. I think we have been staying home a little too much. I cannot tell you how much better I felt when I took all of the kids out for an hour. I know this is not some revolutionary idea but I’ve convinced myself that it’s much easier to stay home with 4 kids than it is to go out with 4 kids (I still believe this truth with the exception of going to the park or some other time constrained, kid friendly outing).
As you can see drove through the country, La La got a new bag (which contained some Donna Wilson goods for her new room), Rocco sleeping is sweeter than ice cream, a run to the antiques place, paints I got for my birthday and I’ve successfully filled up a teeter totter!
How was your week? I hope it was a happy one. xo . t
+ a few of my faves this week +
01 / I want to do this little DIY for back to school shoes.
02 / We made this for dinner last night. So simple + so good.
03 / I’ve been meaning to read this post + likely the book that goes a long with it.
04 / Speaking of reading. I started this book but heard it was disturbing + now am not sure if I should keep going?
05 / Some photography that is only making me want to go to the beach even more.
06 / I don’t know how I didn’t know about this blog but I’m kind of obsessed.
07 / This is in my Netflix que. What’s in yours?

Gone Girl was good. Yes, a bit disturbing, and the ending was a little “eh” after all that drama and intrigue along the way, but I found it to be pretty entertaining overall.

What a lovely blog – you´ve created. Just letting you know I´ll be putting you on my reading list. My week was mostly beautiful – the highlight being my daughters 6 year old birthday. We spent the day at the park and then had her party today, yesterday we baked and prepared the food, today we had an early start to clean and organize. I love that moment just before the guest arrive when everything looks perfect – I also love the chance to invite the people that mean the most to me to our home and share few hours together – and last but not least I love relaxing after a successful party and nibble at the leftovers.
